heavy vehicle licence

This course will qualify the learner with a Class 2, 4 or 5 heavy vehicle licence.

DURATION

The average course length is five working days.

The course has a mixture of theory and practical aspects.

OUTCOME

This course will qualify you to drive a heavy vehicle or heavy vehicle combination.

There is a six month minimum period before you may progress to the next class of driver licence.

This is reduced to three months if you are over 25.

PRE - COURSE REQUIREMENTS

A New Zealand full driver licence, held for 6 months, is required.

There is a requirement to arrange a Medical Certificate (DL9) prior to course.

There may also may be a requirement to obtain an Eyesight Certificate (DL12).
